Do you have a project that you believe the International Maple Society would be interested in funding? We support and encourage research on the maple species worldwide.
Call for Applications
Following support of previous work, the International Maple Society is providing a £1200 bursary for a project focused on the conservation of maple species. This bursary may be used to fund all or part of a larger project. We are inviting interested institutions or individuals to apply for the grant by completing the following criteria:

​The applicant must be a member of the International Maple Society, the Maple Society of North America, or the Maple Society of Britain and Ireland.

The applicant must complete the application form (linked in the below button).

The applicant must submit their application to v_karaman_castro@maplesociety.org on or before 31 August 2024.

Applications will be reviewed by members of the International Maple Society's Taxonomic Working Group, who will have the deciding vote on which project to support.

If successful, the International Maple Society will require:

A full written report covering all aspects of the project, once complete;

A short report (around 1500 words) with images to go into our newsletter.
